Chloe Grace Moretz talks Johnny Deep & Fashion

FASHION’S favourite teen, Chloe Moretz, has taken working with Johnny Depp in her stride. The Kick Ass actress is currently working with him on Tim Burton’s new vampire film, Dark Shadows.

“I did have a bit of a crush on him before I started,” she said, “but then I realised he has a daughter who was only two years younger me and then I thought ‘Maybe not’.”

At just 14 years old, Moretz makes style look effortlessly easy and, as she says herself, the formula is simple.

“It all comes from my mum – I have a super-cool mum,” she told us at the launch of Lily Allen’s debut fashion collection last night. “I just wear what I like and try to stay true to myself. If you wear who you are then you can’t go wrong.”

Describing Chanel, Dior and Christopher Kane as her favourite labels (“I love his take on neon – it’s so fresh”), will she be following in the footsteps of fellow actresses the Olsen twins and launch her own fashion line?

“I’d love to – maybe when I’m 16,” she laughed.

Chloe Moretz Joins ‘Dark Shadows’

Tim Burton’s cast for Dark Shadows gets better and better. Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz is now in talks to join the Warner Bros drama based on the 60s TV soap. Moretz will play Carolyn. She’s the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer), the reclusive matriarch of the Collins clan and owner of the Collinwood mansion where the supernatural saga unfolds. Moretz just wrapped the Martin Scorsese-directed Hugo Cabret and she is currently starring in the Derek Martini-directed Hick with Blake Lively and Alec Baldwin. Moretz also is expected to reprise her Hit Girl character in a Kick-Ass sequel. She’s repped by WME and 3 Arts.
